Lightfastness Comparison Between FRVOLCANO 100% Cotton Flame-Retardant Knitted T-Shirts and Competitors’ Flame-Retardant T-Shirts
FRVOLCANO 100% Cotton Flame-Retardant T-Shirt Series: We employ our independently developed flame-retardant technology and innovative dyeing methods, providing post-dyeing lightfastness up to level 4. There is no difference in lightfastness compared to traditional cotton knitted fabrics. Traditional dyeing methods combined with flame-retardant treatments often result in significant lightfastness issues. We conducted a lightfastness comparison between our flame-retardant fabrics and those commonly used by various market brands. The test method is as follows:
We covered part of the fabric with thick A4 paper, exposing the other part to sunlight for 8 hours a day (09:00-17:00) over a period of 30 days. This simulates daily exposure to sunlight as experienced in real-life conditions. The comparison is shown in the provided images.
It is evident that the fabric used by FRVOLCANO shows almost no fading, whereas fabrics from other brands exhibit severe fading. This demonstrates that our flame-retardant T-shirts offer more durable color retention and are more wear-resistant.
